A Lasting Power of Attorney gives authority to manage all or some of your financial affairs in the event that you become incapable of dealing with them yourself. We have extensive experience in preparing lasting powers. For them to be effective they must be registered at the Office of the Public Guardian.
Our fees for preparing and registering a Lasting Power of Attorney:
- An individual entering into one Lasting Power of Attorney (either Property & Financial or Health & Welfare) £295.00 plus VAT
- An individual entering into both of the above £495.00 plus VAT
A married couple or civil partnership entering into both of the above £750.00 plus VAT
Disbursement
There is a registration fee payable to the Office of the Public Guardian of £82.00 per form.
Subject to your financial circumstances, you may be entitled to a remission of or reduction in the above registration fee. We will be happy to discuss this with you.
