Martin Mears

Martin Mears studied law at Wadham College Oxford.  He founded the practice after completing his training as a solicitor in a leading West End law firm.  He had experience in a variety of areas of legal practice but specialises mainly in general litigation, family law, and commercial transactions.  In recent years he acted for a successful claimant in a leading case decided by the Court of Appeal.

Martin Mears was a former President of the Law Society and member of the Law Society’s Civil Litigation Committee.  For 20 years he wrote a weekly column for the Eastern Daily Press.  He had also been a columnist for the New Law Journal and contributed freelance articles on legal subjects to national newspapers including the Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph and Times.  His book on the workings of family law was published by the leading Think Tank, Civitas.  Most recently he had published articles on subjects as varied as Landlord and Tenant and Inheritance Law.

 

Susan Greenwood

Susan Greenwood is a director of the LLP.  She originally specialised in personal injury law for a well known central London practice.  Subsequently she changed direction and specialised in commercial conveyancing and landlord and tenant work for leading Norwich firms.  She is highly experienced in these fields.

Claire Ferris

Claire Ferris is a Graduate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. She specialises in Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She also has considerable experience in dealing with sale and purchase transactions.

Julie Kent

Julie Kent passed her final exams as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in September 2017.  She deals with domestic conveyancing in which she has extensive experience including mortgages, equity releases, auctions and leases for life.  Both she and Claire Ferris have received numerous cards/letters of appreciation from clients for whom they have acted.

Caroline Parker

Caroline Parker is a senior secretary who has been with the firm for many years.  She is Claire Ferris’ assistant in dealing with the administration of estates.

Asad Rana

Asad Rana is a Director of the LLP. He qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and is experienced in Commercial Leases, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Charity Law. He puts Client Care at the forefront of everything he does, aiming to offer a consistently high standard of legal service.
